Eating Italy with Two Greedy Italians
Posted on May 9, 2012 at 3:59 pm
The second series has returned and Thursday nights have become 'greedy nights'. It's an opportunity for us to escape the grey and wet (so much for the drought) and share in the joy that these two passionate Italian cooks bring to the table.

New Season Olive Oil - what it's all about!
Posted on January 26, 2012 at 2:30 pm
Olive oil in Italy is like bread and butter to the western world. An Italian family will get through litres of the stuff every month. No Italian table is complete without a bottle of olive oil taking centre stage.

Visiting our Italian Producers
Posted on October 25, 2011 at 5:28 pm
This October, we’ve been catching up with old friends. Every year we like to catch up with our producers, who over time have become very much part of the Carluccio’s family. First our Food Team headed off to Calabria to visit our almond cake and chocolate fig producers and then our Wine Expert took a team of managers, waiters and deli assistants to Sardinia.
Marvellous Mushrooms
Posted on September 9, 2011 at 1:00 pm
September is a good month for the most treasured of Italian occupations, which is so popular it’s almost a national sport; foraging for mushrooms. There is no activity, other than football, that brings the same glimmer of excitement to an Italian’s eye. Conversations concerning funghi provoke a stream of reminiscences of the best fungo, the best place to hunt for them (usually they’re very secretive about giving away information and will only tease you with tit bits) and of course the most delicious way to cook them.
Summer in a Bottle
Posted on August 1, 2011 at 5:06 pm
August is upon us and the Carluccio’s team is celebrating the summer with a splash of heat and a burst of zing. We’ve bottled the flavour of Southern Italy for you to liven up home-cooked meals and add some wow factor to the dishes you serve friends and family this summer.

Twelve weeks may be a long time in politics but it’s the time it takes Carluccio’s chefs to train at our cook school.
Making Waves with Veneto Wines
Posted on June 24, 2011 at 9:47 am
We’re a few weeks into our Veneto Wine Festival and the wine is flowing – just how we like it. Before we get too heady on the fine stuff, we thought we should tell you about our fantastic producers. We can’t take all the credit after all (although wine expert Mike might think differently!) and there are a few names that deserve a mention.
