Lombardia

Stretching from the Alps in the north to the River Po on its southern border, Lombardy is one of the most industrial regions of Italy and the most highly populated especially around Milan, yet it is also an extraordinarily beautiful region. The famous great lakes are all here, and the region has a rich and varied agriculture, and a wonderful cuisine, which varies from city to city, and village to village.
