I started working with Carluccio's in 2003 as a Barista and decided I wanted to join the Management Development Scheme which I completed in June 2006 and was duly promoted to Assistant Manager. I am now the General Manager of a central London store which is ranked in the top 3 highest turnover sites in the company.
The last 6 years have been a challenging & rewarding journey for me. I've found myself running Arancini and spoon races in Hyde Park, completing a 4 month secondment assisting our franchise partners as General Manager for the Carluccio's in Dublin and packing picnics through the night for outdoor concerts at Kenwood House.
Over the years Carluccio's has consistently invested in my personal development, with both in-house training such as Complaint Handling and Disciplinary Skills and external training which enabled me to gain my Emergency First Aid qualification, BII Personal Licence & Intermediate Food Hygiene level 3, amongst others. I was also selected, as one of three people, to attend a 2-day external Leadership and Management Skills training course, where I honed my management skills.
