We have been sourcing our best selling Christmas product, Traditional Panettone, from the same producer for all of Carluccio’s 20 years.
They started life as a small patisserie in the city of Alba, in Piemonte, where they were baking cakes and biscuits in the back room.
Made with natural yeast (called a ‘mother yeast’), which has been specially looked after throughout the year and matured for decades! The dough is left to rise slowly – twice – allowing the best flavour and texture to develop.
