Description
This wonderful white Sparkling Wine created by Bottega is crafted in the Conegliano e Valdobbiadene area of Veneto. It has delicate notes of green apples, pear & cirtus fruits with acacia and wisteria. Harmonious, elegant and balanced on the palate.
Whilst famed as an apwritivo, the soft fizz of this Prosecco also partners light chicken dishes, delicate seafood and salads well.
The Glera grapes for this rich, peach and pear scented Prosecco are grown in vineyards around the village of Valdobbiadene a few miles north east of Venice. Here the vineyards are planted up to 500 metres above sea level on thin soils of glacial origin. After the development of the mousse the wine is left on its lees for about a month prior to bottling.

Just north of Venice lies Treviso, a small city that is home to the most famous cuisine to come from Veneto, the creamy and soft Tiramisu. This layered coffee-soaked biscuit and mascarpone dessert is among the most proud and renowned food to come from Italy. Prosecco which is the constant rival to Champagne also originated in Treviso. The bubbling wine is like champagne however the difference being Prosecco is fermented in steel barrels not wood. Enjoy it with a splash of Aperol or Campari for the summery ‘Spritz’.
