Italian Sparkling Wine — Perfect Before or With Food

Bolé, this is the first and original Novebolle - Romagna DOC Spumante, the absolute leader in the Romagna sparkling wine revolution! Its seductive appeal is the fruit of a fascinating duet of two of Romagna’s classic grapes, Trebbiano and Sangiovese, the revealing discovery of a passionate and generous land whose generations of winemakers have always exhibited imaginative expertise.

Straw yellow in colour, with a fine and persistent fizz of lively bubbles. Delicate fresh and fruity scents on the nose, with notes that recall white flowers.

Divine crunchiness and drinkability are the characteristics that make this sparkling wine so versatile in combinations that can range from aperitifs to the whole meal.

Emilia-Romagna

Emilia-Romagna is the north-eastern region of Italy, home to two historic regions of ‘Emilia’ & ‘Romagna’.

Its capital and largest city is Bologna, famous for its beautiful buildings, architecture and churches dating from the Roman period. The University of Bologna is the world’s oldest university, founded in 1088.

On a slightly more modern front, Emilia-Romagna is the automotive centre of Italy. Ferrari, Bugatti, Lamborghini and Maseratis are all made in the region. However, it is also the birth place of some of the most traditional and well-known Italian foods: Parma prosciutto ham, balsamic vinegar (only made in the cities of Modena and Reggio-Emilia) and Parmigiano Reggiano (parmesan cheese).
