The Carluccio’s menu offers a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan options but our best-selling dishes often contain meat or seafood. Therefore we are committed to using meat and seafood that is reared to higher welfare standards involving less intensive farm production systems. Carluccio’s has developed an animal welfare policy to cover all the species that it buys. We are committed to ensuring that 100% of our meat and seafood suppliers meet higher welfare farm assurance standards by 2020.
Carluccio’s have signed up to the Better Chicken Commitment and will ensure that the higher welfare standards associated with this commitment are adopted across our supply chain by 2025.
All of the whole eggs sourced for our kitchens are free range and any egg used as a constituent ingredient in our supply chain will be cage free and/or free range by 2019.
