Gianduja chocolates originated in Turin in the 19th century. They are made in a traditional way by grinding the finest quality Piemonte "Tonda" hazelnuts into a paste and combining them with chocolate. The mixture is then piped through a triangular shaped nozzle to form their characteristic shape. The result is a soft, delicate chocolate with the pure taste of hazelnuts.
